Lenovo launches new Yoga 900 Windows 10 PC devices
Lenovo Yoga 900 notebook and Yoga Home 900 AiO desktop
Lenovo has announced two new Yoga 900 Windows 10 devices, the new Yoga 900 convertible notebook and the Yoga Home 900 "portable" All-in-One (AiO) desktop.
The star of the show is Lenovo's new Yoga 900 convertible notebook based on a 13.3-inch screen with IPS QHD+ (3200x1800) panel. Based on Intel's latest 6th generation Core Skylake Core i7 CPU, up to 16GB of RAM and various Samsung SSD storage, the 14.9mm thick Yoga 900 convertible notebook also comes with an improved cooling system, which is up to 30 percent better than on previous notebooks making it much cooler and quieter.
The rest of the specifications include JBL stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium, battery that can keep it alive for around nine hours of video playback, LED backlit keyboard and a new watchband hinge which allows it to switch to various modes which work flawlessly thanks to Windows Continuum.
In addition to the Yoga 900 convertible notebook, Lenovo also unveiled the Yoga Home 900, a "portable" 27-inch AiO desktop PC that can be used as an AiO system or as a "table PC", thanks to integrated battery that can keep it alive for around three hours.
The Lenovo Yoga Home 900 is based on a wide choice of Intel 5th generation Core i7 CPUs, optional Nvidia Geforce 940A GPU and features a 27-inch 1920x1080 resolution panel. Lenovo included the new AURA 3.0 interface which can be used when the Yoga Home 900 is layed flat and allows users a quick access to photos, videos and various entertainment, productivity and education apps located in the new AURA store.
The Lenovo Yoga 900 convertible notebook starts at €1,299 and will be available in three different colors, clementine orange, platinum silver and champagne gold, when it launches in the second half of October. The oversized Lenovo Yoga Home 900 table PC, starts at €1,499 and will be available in December.
