Pre-tested by der8aurer
Caseking.de, a well known retailer/e-tailer from Germany has started selling binned Skylake Core i7-6700K CPUs which are pre-tested by der8aurer to hit certain overclock.
Currently there are four different offers, all based on Intel's flagship Core i7-6700K Skylake CPU, pre-tested to reach 4.5, 4.6, 4.7 and 4.8GHz. This is an interesting concept where you actually get a CPU that has been tested to reach certain frequency and der8aurer is not an unknown name in the world of overclocking.
All CPUs are also backed a 24-month King-Mod-Garantie warranty and are offered as tray option, without bundled CPU cooler.
The price ranges from €429,90 for the 4.5GHz version up to €569,99 for the 4.8GHz one, which is significantly higher than €399,90 for the standard non-binned Core i7-6700K tray CPU running at reference 4.0GHz.
