Only a few hours after the NDA has been lifted on Intel's Skylake platform we have some of the first overclocking records, including 4605.8MHz for DDR4 memory.
According to MSI, this is the highest DDR4 memory frequency record and the kit was running at 4605.8MHz with 19-25-25-63 latencies. MSI notes that this just shows how effective is MSI's new DDR4 Boost technology that is used to optimize memory performance on Intel's new Z170 Express based motherboards.
We are quite sure that we will see plenty of new records and high overclocking scores as soon as overclockers get a hang of Intel's new Skylake CPUs and Z170 Express motherboards.
