It appears that AMD Radeon R9 Fury X is suffering from a couple of noise issues as users have been reporting both coil whine as well as issues with loud AiO pump.
While these could be limited to certain samples, it appears that Radeon R9 Fury X, which is only available in its reference design form, is suffering from both coil whine as well as loud noise coming from the pump of the integrated All-in-One (AiO) liquid cooling system.
Reported by Wccftech.com, which also received a couple of videos that shows the recorded noise coming from choke whine, which can be attributed to low-quality chokes, something that has been happening with earlier released graphics card and usually corrected by AMD's AIB partners on their custom non-reference designs. This noise is usually happening under high loads.
While coil whine noise was not enough, some users are also reporting loud noise coming from the pump of the integrated AiO liquid cooling solution, made by Cooler Master, even in idle. According to AMD's representative, Antal Tungler, the problem is known to AMD and exists in early production units and it is expected to be fixed in future batches as Cooler Master have already fixed the pump-noise problem.
