Palit has announced its latest member of the Geforce GTX 900 series, the custom-cooled and factory-overclocked Palit Geforce GTX 980 Ti Super JetStream.
Based on a custom design and packing Nvidia's 28nm GM200 GPU with 2816 CUDA cores, the Palit Geforce GTX 980 Ti Super JetStream works at 1152MHz for the GPU base clock and 1241MHz for the GPU Boost clock, which is significantly higher than Nvidia's reference GTX 980 Ti clocked at 1000MHz GPU base and 1075MHz GPU Boost clocks. The Palit Geforce GTX 980 Super JetStream comes with 6GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 7.0GHz and paired up with a 384-bit memory interface.
In order to deal with a high factory-overclock, Palit decided to equip the new GTX 980 Ti Super JetStream with a modified dual-fan JetStream cooler, even making it up to 12 degrees cooler and around 8dB quieter under heavy load, compared to the reference graphics card.
The cooler also packs the new 0-dB Tech feature which does not spin up the 100mm fans until the GPU temperature passes 60 degrees. Although slightly higher than your standard graphics card, the cooling system on the GTX 980 Ti Super JetStream also features a backplate.
Unfortunately, Palit did not unveil any details regarding the price or the availability date for the new Geforce GTX 980 Ti Super JetStream graphics card.
