In addition to the first curved G-Sync monitor on the market, Acer has unveiled plenty of new products today, including a full new line of Predator gaming products, including 15-inch and 17-inch gaming notebooks, new gaming desktop as well as an upcoming Predator Android gaming tablet.
In addition to
the 34-inch curved ultra-wide XR341CKA gaming monitor with Nvidia G-Sync, Acer has unveiled a full lineup of new upcoming Predator series gaming products, including 15- and 17-inch Predator gaming notebooks, Predator gaming desktop system as well as the Predator Android gaming tablet.
Spotted and pictured in details by TheVerge.com, Acer did not go into specific details on any of the Predator gaming products since these are all be available later in 2015. Starting with the third quarter, Acer will unveil plenty of Predator products that were created due to a great success of Acer's V Nitro series of notebooks.
According to Acer, the Predator notebooks will be available in 15- and 17-inch configurations, have a "massive" cooling system, which also suggest that we might see some impressive hardware inside them, and programmable buttons, customizable by game. The new Predator gaming notebooks should launch in Q4. In addition to the gaming notebooks, Acer also unveiled the new Predator gaming desktop system. This one will ship in Q3 and while Acer did not go into any specific details regarding the hardware, it did promise it will be based on "the latest graphics, the latest processors, and the latest chipsets."
The last, but definitely not the least, in the Predator lineup, is the Predator gaming tablet. Obviously competing with Nvidia's Shield Tablet, the Acer Predator gaming tablet will have an 8-inch screen, four front speakers, dual cameras, haptic feedback and much more. The one thing that we certainly like is the design of the tablet as it is something that we certainly did not expect from Acer. Unfortunately, there are no further details and this one should be available in Q3 as well.
