Sharkoon has expanded its line of power supply units with new SilentStorm SFX power supplies that will come with 80 Plus Gold and 80 Plus Bronze certification without compromising the compact design and support for mini-PCs.

Available in 500W version, the SilentStorm SFX Gold 500W is 80 Plus Gold certified, which means it offers over 90 percent efficiency at 50 percent load.

Cooled by a single, bottom placed 120mm fan and with compact dimensions of 130x125x63mm, the SilentStorm SFX Gold 500W PSU can fit in most mini-PC cases and with modular design, ensures clean cable management.

It comes with two 6+2 PCIe power connectors, making it suitable even for certain multi-GPU configurations. It also comes with four SATA, two Molex and single Floppy power connector.

The Sharkoon SilentStorm SFX Bronze will be available in 350W and 450W, both with 80 Plus Bronze certification offering over 85 percent efficiency under 50 percent load. Both also have the same 135x125x63mm dimensions and use the 80mm fan for cooling.

The SilentStorm SFX Bronze 350W version comes with two SATA, single Molex and Floppy power connector while the 450W version adds additional 6+2-pin PCIe and SATA connector.

The Sharkoon SilentStorm Gold 500W should be available now with an MSRP for €79.90, while the Sharkoon SilentStorm Bronze 350W and 450W should be selling at €49.99 and €59.99, respectively.
