ASUS has announced its latest motherboard that will be a part of its TUF lineup, the TUF Trooper B85 motherboard.

Based on Intel's B85 Express chipset with support for Intel's 4th generation Core LGA1150 socket CPUs, the new ASUS TUF Trooper B85 motherbaord features two DIMM DDR3 memory slots with support for up to 16GB of DDR3-1600 memory, has single PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot, two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots (x4, x1) and single PCI-Express 2.0 x1 slot.

When it comes to connectivity and other specifications, the ASUS TUF Trooper B85 comes with four SATA 6Gbps ports and two SATA 3Gbps ports, Realtek 811GR Gigabit LAN, integrated Realtek ALC887 7.1-channel audio four USB 3.0 ports and a total of eight USB 2.0 ports.

As a part of ASUS TUF lineup, the TUF Trooper B85 motherboard comes with some unique features including TUF Certified Server Strength reliability backed by a 5 year warranty, TUF LANGuard, TUF Audio Design, TUF ESD Guards 2, TUF Thermal Radar Core as well as TUF Engine! power design including 10K Ti-Caps, Chokes & MOSFETs and ASUS DIGI+ 4+1-phase VRM.

Unfortunately, ASUS did not reveal any details regarding the price but did note that the new ASUS TUF Trooper B85 motherboard should be available in July.
