In 480 and 960GB versions
Corsair has announced the release two new capacities for its Force LS SSD lineup, the 480GB and 960GB.
Previously available in 60GB, 120GB and 240GB capacities, Corsair LS SSD lineup is based on standard 7mm 2.5-inch form-factor. Based on Phison SATA 6Gbps interface controller paired up with Toshiba NAND MLC flash memory chips, the Force LS SSDs offer sequential transfer performance of up to 560MB/s read and 540MB/s write.
The Force LS SSD series also feature support for TRIM, garbage collection and S.M.A.R.T. commands.
According to Corsair, the two new 480GB and 960GB versions of the Force LS SSD should be available now with a suggested retail price of US $189.99 and $379.99, respectively.
