According to new reports, it appears that LG's upcoming flagship LG G4 smartphone might not feature a metal body, but the company is also working on next smartphone that could be ready to have a metal body.
While earlier leaked press pictures of the LG G4 suggested that it might not come with a metal body,
a new report coming from Korea pretty much confirms it. While the new LG flagship smartphone will stick to a polycarbonate body, it appears that LG is also working on new new LG G4 Note phablet that should be a direct competition to Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus and will also feature a metal body.
According to the report, LG G4 will not get a metal body due to the costly nature of the switch to CNC equipment and it is not something that company will do lightly.
In any case, it appears that LG's next flagship will stick to plastic body, which could also have a great impact on the price, making it cheaper compared to the competition.
