According to a new report, Samsung is expected to ship a total of 55 million Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones during this year.
Analysts have revised its expectations when it comes to Samsung's Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone sale expectations shifting it from 38 million up to 55 million expected sales during this year.
The latest report is coming from DRAMeXchange which predicts that Samsung's two new flagships will hit 22.2 million sales during first quarter. According to the same report, Samsung is expected to sell 16.2 and 12.5 million units in following quarters.
Of course, analysts might further adjust these predictions as we are yet to see the rest of the competition, including LG's G4 and Sony's Xperia Z4. HTC's One M9 is also starting to hit retail/e-tail shelves and might have an impact on Samsung sales as well.
