Corsair has unveiled its newest Neutron XT line of performance SSDs which are based on a standard 7mm 2.5-inch design and based on Phison quad-core controller paired up with newest Toshiba 19nm MLC NAND.
Reviewed by the Techreport.com, the latest Neutron XT line of performance SSDs from Corsair is based on a standard 7mm thick, 2.5-inch form factor and features SATA 6Gbps interface. It uses a new Phison PS3110 quad-core controller paired up with new 19nm Toshiba A19 MLC NAND. The new controller from Phison will also bring a few new features, including SmartFlush, which places inbound data to the flash thus minimizing the chance of data-loss as well as native 256-bit AES encryption with TCG Opal 2.0 compliance.
The new Corsair Neutron XT line of SSDs will be available in 240, 480 and 960GB capacities and offer sequential read and write performance of up to 562/547MB/s depending on the model. The entire lineup is rated with write endurance of 124TB as well as come with new and updated Corsair SSD Toolbox software.
Unfortunately, Corsair still did not reveal any details regarding the official availability date or the price of the new Neutron XT SSD line.
