As it was detailed a few weeks ago, the Raspberry Pi mini-PC now has a new version named the Raspberry Pi A+.
Like the Raspberry Pi Rev. B, which got a B+ version, the Rev A. is got an updated to the A+ version which is actually smaller and even cheaper.
While the Broadcom BCM2835 processor and 256 MB of memory remain unchanged, the Raspberry Pi is now 65mm long (compared to 86mm on the older versin), got a 40-pin GPIO connector, a microSD card slot (compared to standard SD card slot) and a better quality audio solution.
To make things more interesting, this new version is already available from Farnell for £15.51 or 17.74€, and has a suggested price of US $20, which is US $5 cheaper than older version.
