Xigmatek announces new Eris cube mini-ITX case

With support for full-sized graphics card

Xigmatek has unveiled and announced its newest Eris cube PC case which, although meant for mini-ITX form-factor motherboards, can actually fit a full sized graphics card.

With 355x255x180mm dimensions and 3.06kg weight when empty, the Xigmatek Eris mini-ITX cube case is made out of SECC steel and ABS plastic. Despite being quite small, it can fit a standard ATX PSU, up to 140mm tall CPU coolers as well as a dual-slot standard-height graphics card which is up to 300mm long.

The Xigmatek Eris also comes with a single 5.25-inch optical drive bay that can double up as two 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch HDD/SSD bay, room for a single 240x120mm radiator or two 120mm fans at the top panel, single 80mm fan at the back and two 80mm side fans as well as a two USB 3.0 and standard HD audio jacks at its side-mounted front I/O panel.

The new Xigmatek Eris cube mini-ITX PC case is definitely quite interesting especially considering it can house some rather powerful hardware. Unfortunately, Xigmatek did not reveal any details regarding the availability date or the price, but we hope it will not exceed US $60.
