ASUSTOR has unveiled its newest 4-bay AS7004T tower model NAS device with storage capacity of up to 24TB, and which is a part of a well known AS70T series.
The new 4-bay AS7004T model is powered by Intel's Core i3-4330 3.5GHz dual-core CPU, features 2GB SO-DIMM DDR3 RAM (expandable up to 16GB), and, in addition to maximum supported capacity of HDDs of up to 24TB, provides read and write transfer speeds of over 112MB/s.
The rest of the specifications and features include two Gigabit Ethernet ports, three USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and two eSATA ports. It uses a single extra-large fan with dedicated heatpipes in order to cool all for disk trays as well as CPU. The AS7004T also comes with built-in ADM 2.3 (ASUSTOR Data Master) operating system which features newly refreshed graphics and a significantly smoother browsing experience as well as support for XBMC media player.
Unfortunately, ASUSTOR did not reveal any details regarding the actual price or the availability date of the new AS7004T tower NAS.
