Assassin's Creed Unity requirements unveiled

Needs GTX 680 at least

While the game has yet to launch, we now have the official requirements for Assassin's Creed Unity game, leaked by Ubisoft Korea, and these do not look promising for those with less powerful systems as it needs at least the Core i5 or Phenom II x4 CPU and at least a GTX 680 or HD 7970 graphics card.

The leak regarding the game requirements come from Ubisoft Korea trainee who has accidentally unveiled the necessary configuration for the next great title from Ubisoft, Assassin's Creed Unity.

Gamers have to be surprised, because the game will require at least an Intel Core i5-2500K, an FX-8350 or a Phenom II x4 940 CPU paired up with Nvidia GTX 680 or AMD HD 7970 graphics card with 2 GB of VRAM as well as a minimum of 6 GB of RAM. For the recommended configuration, these configurations are pushed a bit higher to Intel's Core i7-3770 or AMD's FX-8350 and either the Nvidia GTX 780 or AMD Radeon R9 290X (3 GB of VRAM) graphics card as well as 8 GB of RAM.

Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Unity will also only work on a 64-bit version of Windows 7/8/8.1 and requires 50 GB of HDD space for installation.

Some sources and gamers are still suggesting that these could be fake, but these requirements are now confirmed by Ubisoft. These requirements could have an impact on game sales as some of the systems might not be able to handle the new Assassin's Creed Unity. It is also worth noting that that the FX-8350 is also found in the minimum configuration as well as in the recommended, perhaps as Ubisoft account on the fact that the user will overclock it to make the game work properly or it is simply a mistake.
