Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel gets a new trailer

Showing new Claptrap skills

Gearbox Software has released a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel game that shows a bit more details regarding Claptrap's new skills.

The new eleven minute long trailer, which was recorded at PAX Prime, shows more details regarding Claptrap's quite strange skills which come with a few bugs that will make Claptrap respond to some situations in unexpected ways. According to Joel Eschler from 2K Australia, "We really designed it with his personality in mind. It's still beta software, and it doesn't run that well on his hardware."

Claptrap will apparently have an ability to randomly place a turret that fires rockets in all directions or set out a "Clap in a Box" bomb that will explode in just a few seconds making him rather unpredictable. According to the developer, all these "bugs" will be useful but not always in the most obvious ways.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is schedule to be launched on October 14th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PC.
