Microsoft Windows 10 event video now available

Check out the new features

Microsoft has now published a video from its Windows 10 media event held yesterday in San Francisco, allowing everyone to see some of the new features, looks as well as more details regarding the release schedule of the new Windows 10 OS.

Running at just under 40 minutes, the video shows pretty much everything what you had a chance to already read about the Windows 10 OS, and even the reason why it is not called the Windows 9. The video also reveals details regarding the release scheduled of both the Technical Preview as well as the expected mid-2015 release date for the consumer version of the windows 10.

In case you missed our previous news post, the two main speakers at the Windows 10 media event were Terry Myerson, executive vice president of operating systems, and Joe Belfiore, the corporate vice president of operating systems group. Microsoft is definitely pushing hard with the "one application platform" strategy for the Windows 10, which means that we will see one app store, one method of updating across all devices and wide support for various type of devices including desktops, notebooks, tablets and smartphones.
