The next Assassin’s Creed chapter, called Unity, will take place in France during the revolution, and today the developers unveiled a brand new video that shows the new Co-op mode, and many customization options you’ll be able to use to change your character.

The Assassin’s Creed fans always loved the freedom you have in the game, while they always hoped to see a deeper mix between the Action genre, and the RPG genre.

The new Skill and Equipment system featured in Unity, should answer to their prayers, and will allow players to choose if they want to play in a stealth way, hiding in the shadows, or be more aggressive, and jump in the core of the battle using a knight.

Each specialization will be developed in Single Player mode, but its great effects will be clear once you start playing in Co-op mode (up to 4 players). Using a heterogeneous team, you’ll be able to fight with your friends, helping each other, overcoming the weaknesses of each character. Unfortunately we will have to wait for a bit longer to play the game, but for now we can enjoy the 5 minutes video released by Ubisoft.
