Just a few days after they have released two new drivers, Nvidia has now released the new Geforce 344.16 WHQL driver aimed to be only used with the new Maxwell GPU based Geforce GTX 980 and the GTX 970.
While it has only been a couple of days since Nvidia released the Geforce 344.11 WHQL driver that brought support for new Geforce GTX 980 and GTX 970 graphics cards as well as performance updates for some new games like the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, The Evil Within, F1 2014, and Alien: Isolation, and just a a few days since they released the new Geforce 344.16 Beta driver which apparently brought some bug fixes for new Geforce GTX 980 and GTX 970 graphics cards, Nvidia has now released the new Geforce 344.16 WHQL driver as well.
While the release notes are still not clear on what exactly the new Geforce 344.16 WHQL driver actually fixes, it still only supports the Geforce GTX 980 and the Geforce GTX 970, which suggest that bug fixes might be related to those graphics cards.
The new Geforce 344.16 WHQL driver is still the Game Ready driver fo Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, The Evil Within, F1 2014, and Alien: Isolation, has support for Nvidia G-SYNC and G-SYNC Surround and is available for Windows Vista, 7, 8 and Windows 8.1 in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
As always you can find the new driver over at
Nvidia's driver support site.
