AOC unveils new 24-inch Nvidia G-SYNC monitor

Priced at US $449

AOC has unveiled the AOC 2460PG, an interesting new 24-inch gaming monitor that will not only feature Nvidia's G-SYNC technology but also a rather a decent price tag of US $449.

In addition to the 24-inch 1920x1080 panel that will, according to AOC, give "gamers a serious edge so they can focus on the game without the distraction of screen tearing, ghosting or latency," the new AOC 2460PG monitor also offers 144Hz refresh rate, 300cd/m of brightness, 80,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 170°H/160°V viewing angles, DisplayPort input that includes five USB ports with support for USB 3.0, ergonomic stand and much more.

It also supports Nvidia's G-SYNC technology that was introduced in October last year and should fix screen tearing and display stutter. The bad side of the story is that it only works with Nvidia Kepler and Maxwell GPUs.

The new AOC 2460PG is currently shipping in the USA with a price of US $449, which is not to much for a 144Hz gaming monitor but still quite steep for a 24-inch 1080p one.
