Club 3D has now officially launched the first USB 3.0 to 4K/UHD Docking station, the CSV-3103D. The new SCV-3103D is actually the third SenseVision product launched by Club 3D after the MST Hub and the USB 3.0 to 4K graphics adapter.


While mostly known for their AMD-based graphics cards, the Club 3D SenseVision lineup targets semi-professionals by offering a selection of USB Graphics Adapters, MST Hubs and Docking Stations that allow them to boost their productivity by expanding their system with additional monitors, peripherals and storage devices.

The new CSV-3103D Docking Station is quite packed with features making it ideal for users that need more connectivity on tablet, notebook, ultrabook or even a desktop PC. While there are plenty of USB 3.0 Docking Stations with display outputs on the market, the CSV-3103D allows you to connect a 4K Ultra HD monitor via DisplayPort or HDMI thanks to the new DisplayLink DL-5000 series USB to 4K/UHD SoC.




In addition to support for USB 3.0 to 4K/UHD display output via DisplayPort or HDMI, the CSV-3103D also offers three USB 3.0 downstream ports with one of them supporting Battery Charging 1.2 standard that allows faster charging (up to 1.5A) when device supports it. It also comes with a 2.1-channel 3.5mm audio jack, Gigabit Ethernet and aforementioned DVI, DisplayPort and HDMI outputs.




The new CSV-3103D also supports USB 2.0/1.1 but without support for 4K/UHD, as USB 3.0 is needed for that. It is also important to note that the CSV-3103D Docking Station also needs a power input via power jack in order to work, as well as a free USB port, of course.

The Club 3D CSV-3103D 4K/UHD USB 3.0 Docking Station will be available worldwide by the end of October 2014 with a price set at US $169 or €130 excluding tax.
