Sapphire rolls out new R7 250X GHz Edition

With 1000 MHz core clocks

Based on the old Radeon R7 250X Vapor-X, which was launched last February, the new GHz Edition features quite a decent overclock on the GPU and the memory received treatment. In terms of cooling, there is a powerful Vapor-X heatsink taking good care of the GPU.
Based on the same 28nm Cape Verde GPU like the Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition, which is now called Oland, the new R7 250X packs 640 Stream Processors, 40 TMUs and 16 ROPs. As the name suggest, the GPU runs at 1'000 MHz GPU clock and 4.80 GHz (GDDR5-effective) on the memory. With the reference card clock speed are of 925 MHz on the GPU and 4.50 GHz on the memory.

A closer look at power power consumption reveals, there is only one 6-pin PCIe power connector. Display outputs include two dual-link DVI, one HDMI 1.4a and one DisplayPort 1.2.

If we start looking for prices, we can't find any these days. We expect this card to hit the market soon and be up for a reasonable price.
