Phanteks entered the PC case market with fireworks, thanks to the Enthoo Primo. After that, they unveiled the Enthoo Pro, which is cheaper and it has less features. Today, they unveiled the new Enthoo Luxe, which is in the middle between the first two, because it's cheaper than the Primo, but it has more features than the Pro.
The latest addiction to the Enthoo lineup of Phanteks is the Luxe. It will be available in two versions, black and white, while its predecessors were only available in black at first, and then they added the white version.
It's made out of steel, while the front panel is made out of aluminum. It measures 235x560x550mm, and it can fit almost any kind of motherboard. On the front panel we find four 5.25” slots, but the highest one is actually the I/O panel, which features two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, audio jacks, Power and Reset buttons. Inside, as far as storage is concerned, you can fit up to six 2.5”/3.5” drives, while there are 2 more slots for 2.5” drives. Ventilation wise, it features a pre-installed 200mm fan in the front, a 140mm fan in the back and one 140mm on top. It can fit up to 7 fans: two 120/140mm in the front, one 120/140mm in the back, two 120/140mm on the bottom, one 200mm or two 120/140mm on top. Of course, you can install 120/420mm radiators on the bottom, or a 200mm on top. The CPU cooler can go as high as 193mm, while the graphics card can go as long as 472mm (347mm if you need all the HDD cages), while there are 27mm between the motherboard tray and the right side panel for a tidy cable management.
The new Luxe has a lot of interesting features, like any gaming PC case should have: rubber groomets for a tidy cable management, tool-less mounting systems, anti-dust filters and much more. Of course, the price is set accordingly: 149$ for the black version, and 159$ for the white version. Both of them will be available in August.
