Bungie's Destiny Beta starts on July 17th

We already knew that Bungie's next biggest game title, Destiny, will start its beta phase on July 17th on Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 but now we also know that the beta phase will be also coming to both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One.


Earlier, Bungie announced that its new shooter game will enter beta status on July 17th for Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 and end on July 21st, when the game will go offline for maintenance. The beta phase of the game will be back up on July 23rd when it will also be available for Xbox 360 and Xbox One as well and run until July 28th.

In addition to beta details, Bungie also revealed some details regarding the two Collector's Editions of the game, the Limited Edition and the Ghost Edition. Both will include limited edition SteelBook case with the game disc, a Guardian folio pack which includes Arms & Armament Field Guide, postcards from the Golden Age and an antique star chart as well as a digital content pack and access to the Expansion Pass. The Expansion Pass will include access to future expansions, The Dark Below and the House of Wolves, which are expected to cost US $19.99 each.

The more expansive Ghost Edition will include a Ghost replica, Golden Age Relics and a couple of other goodies. The Destiny Limited Edition bundle will cost US $99.99 while the Ghost Edition will go for US $149.99. As you probably already know, the Destiny is currently scheduled for release on September 9th.
