EK Water Blocks has released two new full cover water blocks aimed to be used with ASUS' custom Republic of Gamers Matrix GTX 780 Ti and the ROG Matrix R9 290X graphics cards.


Based on the full cover water block design, both the EK-FC780 GTX Ti Matrix as well as the EK-FC R9-290X Matrix directly cool the GPU, RAM and the VRM part of the graphics card ensuring stability even under high overclocks. Both water blocks also feature a very high flow design which means that they can also be used in systems with weaker pumps.

Both new water blocks feature a base made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top part is made of cast acrylic material or POM Acetal, depending on the version. They also feature screw-in brass standoffs which are pre-installed and use 0.6mm wide micro-channel structure.

Up to four water blocks can be interconnected via EK-FC Terminal and both blocks should already be available via EK Webshop and wide list of partner retailers. The new EK-FC780 GTX Ti Matrix and the EK-FC R9-290X Matrix will be priced at €114,95 for the Nickel and €116,95 for the Acetal+Nickel versions. EK Water Blocks will also offer an aesthetic retention backplate for both models priced at €34,95.
