Motorola releases official Moto 360 demo

No official date yet

There have been quite a few neat hands-on with Motorola's Moto 360 smartwatch during Google I/O 2014 but all of those devices were running on Android Wear demo OS which meant that we did not have a chance to see the actual features of the Moto 360. Luckily, Motorola has now released the official demo video for the upcoming smartwatch but still did not shed any light regarding the actual release date.

While LG's G Watch and Samsung's Gear Live have already went on sale the same day they were officially announced at Google I/O, we will still have to wait a bit longer for the Motorola Moto 360 smartwatch.

Judging from the released demo video the UI on the Moto 360 is quite similar to any other Android Wear based device with exception of the custom watch layouts that Motorola is quite proud of. Of course, there are some differences due to the "wristwatch" design of the Moto 360.

In any case, the Moto 360 should come later this year and hopefully this will be sooner rather than later.
