Gigabyte shows mini-ITX Gaming series motherboard

The feature-packed Z97N-Gaming 5

During the Computex 2014 show, Gigabyte has showcased a rather interesting mini-ITX motherboard which will be based on Intel Z97 Express chipset and ready for Intel's new Devil's Canyon CPUs but also offer quite a few features consider its mini-ITX form-factor, the Gigabyte Z97N-Gaming 5.

As noted, this little motherboard is based on Intel's Z97 Express chipset with socket LGA1150 and for quite a small size packs quite a few features including 6-phase CPU VRM which draws power from 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS power connectors, one PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot and mPCIe 2.0 x1 slot, two DIMM memory slots and five SATA 6Gbps ports,

The rest of the features include DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, Realtek's ALC1150 HD audio, Killer E2200 gaming Ethernet, integrated 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, bunch of USB ports and Gigabyte's Ultra Durable package with Black Solid CAPs, Audio Noise Guard with LED path lighting and high-end Nichicon audio capacitors as well as gold plated display and audio ports.

Judging from what we see, Gigabyte's mini-ITX Z97N-Gaming 5 might easily end up among some of the best mini-ITX motherboards on the market and hopefully we will see and hear much more about it.
