Production suspended for a few weeks

Speaking about big companies affected by a Ransomware, we can now add Toshiba to the list. During the past months several large companies announced that they were affected by Ransomware and amongst them were giants like Renault and Nissan. Since Toshiba is one of the world’s largest supplier for NAND flash memory, this will most certainly have an effect on pricing, since the production had to be suspended.



First mini-ITX model

ASRock announced a mini-ITX motherboard based on Intel's X299 chipset. This motherboard is the perfect solution if you want build an extreme and powerful PC on a tiny footprint. Like the previous model based, which was based on the Intel X99 chipset, the upcoming X299E-ITX/ac comes with a lot of features.


With 140 and 280 slim radiators

EK Water Blocks has put two more water cooling kits together, which they're marketing as liquid cooling kits for beginners. Following the launch of the EK-CoolStream SE 140 as well as the EK-CoolStream SE 280, the Slovenian maker of water cooling products has now two water cooling kits with slim radiators in its portfolio.



Very clean looking

Antec has announced the P110 Luce case, which offers support for ATX motherboards and up to two 280mm radiators. The P110 Luce is a mid-tower chassis that's been made from steel, ABS plastic and aluminum. Although there is a well-thought internal layout and a very reasonable number of features, the Antec P110 Luce comes at an attractive €119 price tag.



With 144 Hz refresh rate

ASUS has updated their gaming monitor lineup with a new curved display which goes by the name ROG Strix XG27VQ. This monitor sports a 27-inch panel with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Apart from that it has been delayed several times but it should now be finally available.

Successors of the 960 series

Samsung is working on a new generation of consumer SSDs. According to the UNH InterOperability Laboratory list, Samsung is developing two new SSDs called "NVMe 97x and 98x" series. Furthermore, Samsung will change their EVO/Pro naming scheme due to a new design of the SSDs.



No details on clock speeds

According to the Ashes of the Singularity database, benchmark results on a NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti have surfaced. In the case you missed earlier news, the NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti should become available by the end of October and it should fill the gap between the GTX 1070 and the GTX 1080 graphics card.



With 32GB capacity

Do you fancy RGB LEDs on memory modules? If the answer is yes, you will be happy to know that there are new RGB LED memory kits from G.Skill. The company has announced yet another memory kit for modders, gamers and overclockers. The TridentZ RGB DDR4-4266MHz are now available with 32GB (4x8GB) capacity and they’re aimed at high-end X299 and Z370 platforms.



RGB lightning

Thermaltake unveiled their new Toughpower Grand RGB Platinum Series power supplies, that come with a pre-installed 140mm Riing RGB fan. This new PSU series will feature 3 different SKUs, ranging from 850 to 1250W of output power.

Available in October

According to the latest information, NVIDIA is working on a GTX 1070 Ti in order to respond to AMD's RX Vega 56. At the moment there isn't a lot of detailed information available on this topic but nevertheless there are finally the specifications leaking through. Current rumors suggest that the GTX 1070 Ti will perform almost on par with the GTX 1080.


Curved gaming monitor

MSI has expanded its monitor lineup with another model, featuring a 32-inch TN panel with 1920 x 1080 FullHD resolution. The grey-to-grey response time is 1ms and the refresh rate is 165Hz. Apart from that this monitor packs AMD FreeSync support.


Triple-fan cooler

With the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming Trio series, MSI announces two new graphics cards based on a custom PCB and a triple-fan cooler. This model should provide very good cooling performance and apart from that there is a new lighting system underneath the plastic shroud.


With two separate illuminated rings

Corsair has added yet another set of RGB LED fans to their lineup. The new fans are called LL and they should become available starting from today. Corsair already offers the SP and HD series in the case of RGB LED fans, however the LL series look much more customizable due to the hardware controller.

Two rather similar boards

During the past few days we have covered most of ASUS' motherboards, which are compatible with Intel's latest CPUs. Apparently the company has still a couple of motherboards that will be available soon like the Maximus X Formula and the Maximus X Code. Both models are near-identical, the Formula features liquid-cooling while the Code doesn't.


Three more models

Although MSI launched its line of Z370 based motherboards over a week ago, we are now getting the full details on its Z370 Pro series motherboards. Compared to the Gaming series, the Pro series should be more budget-oriented.
