Conclusion

Wireless Flash Drive from SanDisk is a unique and well thought product. The thumb key has both a USB 2.0 interface as well as a WiFi one. The case is made out of plastic material of good quality but far from perfect, since it feels a bit crunchy. We tested the version with 16GB of internal space, but placing a bigger microSD card you can increase the storage space. SanDisk Wireless Flash Drive is available in 16, 32 and 64GB capacities.

The WiFi module allows you to exchange data directly with the flash drive in a quick and simple way. The system allows you to connect up to eight devices simultaneously and allows streaming with three devices at the same time. In our testing we have used big data without any problem in WiFi mode and all the movies were smooth and perfect.

To connect to the dongle via WiFi, you can use the application from SanDisk or alternatively any browser. The features are many and you can also set a password to prevent unwanted connections. The application also allow you to upload files on your stick, otherwise you can only view them. SanDisk APP is also available for both the Android and the iOS.

The battery life on this little device is a big surprise as we managed to get almost four hours of streaming. We checked the price on Geizhals and the SanDisk Flash Drive 16GB Wireless will set you back for about 49 euro excluding shipping costs. Given the features of the product we believe that the price is adequate.

We give the SanDisk Wireless Flash Drive 16GB good 4 out of 5 stars.
