Since the AMD Radeon R9 280X is roughly speaking nothing else than a renamed Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition, AMD's partners are launching custom designs right from the beginning. ASUS, for example, is offering no less than six cards; two Matrix, two DirectCU II triple slot and two DirectCU II dual slot.
