Overall EK was able to impress
with the EK-Kit L360. The build quality of all the components included
in the bundle is very good and also cooling performance is where you
expect it to be, when having a triple radiator in the loop. Additionally
you find extensive manuals in and big compression fittings and tubes,
which make the installation quite a bit easier. |

The installation is quite
easy and self explanatory. Nevertheless you should take yourself some
time to route the tubes neatly. Regarding the tubings as well as the
fittings, we think that EK made a great choice putting the big 16
millimeter tubes in the kit as well as the big compression fittings.
Thanks to their size you won't need a gripper to tighten them, you can
do it by hand easily. While installing the CPU block we noticed that the
screws, which you have to tighten to the backplate can be quite hard to
put through the socket holes of ASUS motherboards. We would like to see
EK scrap of like a thenth of a millimeter to make to fit on all boards
easily. Last but not least you want to bleed the system, which is easy
thanks to the reservoir and the adequate, integrated pump. |

To test the EK-Kit
L360 we used the three fans in the delivery as well as three additional fans
which the same rotation speeds and ampere. When driving the fans at 7 volt there
were very silent and driven at 12 volt and 1600 rpm there were well audible. The
temperatures are very good in all cases. It doens't matter if you use a push-,
pull- or a push/pull-setup, but obviously push/pull is the most powerful and on
the other hand we've manage to see a 1°C difference between push- and
pull-setup, where the pull-setup is the winner.

Should
you be looking for a custom watercooling kit, then you won't do anything wrong
going for the EK-Kit L360. Obviously this kit costs more than an all-in-one
solution but for that additional money you also get additional cooling
performance. At 219.95 Euro it isn't exactly cheap but we think it's worth every
cent. |
