Meanwhile Lian Li has a few dual-chambered cases in its portfolio and it looks like the vendor is slowly completing the lineup adding a miniITX model. The upcoming PC-Q39, is basically a scaled down version of the PC-O11 which received a front plate, that’s been made from aluminum entirely instead of tempered glass partially.


240Hz, 1ms and G-SYNC

AOC already has a vast portfolio of displays and with the AG251FG the vendor is launching yet another fullHD model. The 24.5-inch panel supports 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution at 240Hz refresh rate, which makes this display relevant for playing fast first person shooters. In addition, AOC will show several monitors during the upcoming Gamescom 2017.


10nm Ice Lake

It’s been a few years that Intel thoroughly presented a roadmap, showing what’s to come when in the foreseeable future. On of the most interesting points on the agenda is certainly Ice Lake, which is supposed to follow the 8th generation Intel Core processor family. Intel notes that the processors are "a" successor to the eighth-gen, not "the" main successor, which leaves a lot of room for speculation.

With 1080p resolution and 1800R curvature

Samsung has expanded its curved gaming monitor lineup once again. Like the previous model, the CFG73 features 144Hz refresh rate and is therefore perfect for first person shooter games. For better color reproduction the panel features Samsung’s proprietary Quantum Dot technology.


Based on a high-contrast VA panel

BenQ has added another monitor with a 27-inch panel and 1920 x 1080 resolution to its lineup. The display comes with a high-contrast VA panel and it’s supposed to be HDR compatible. In addition the EW277HDR achieves 93% of DCI-P3 colour space, which makes it is suitable for professional use.

A few days ago, the AMD’s flagship RX Vega graphics card have been released. The cards are out but according to Newegg and many other e-tailers, RX Vega is already sold out. Although there are no less than ten new graphics cards listed, they are all out of stock.

New markets always offer new opportunities and that on the other hand means that different vendors will launch new products. ADATA is one of those having presented their new SX9000 NVMe SSD.

More performance for Agents of Mayhem

Following the launch of Volition's Agents of Mayhem, Gaijin Entertainment's Crossout MMO, and Tripwire Interactive's Killing Floor: Incursion VR horror game, NVIDIA releases a new driver supporting all these new titles. Apart from added game support some bugs have been addressed as well.



First MSI X299 microATX model

The X299M Gaming Pro Carbon AC from MSI is a high-end motherboard that comes with a few interesting features. Compared to the X299 Gaming Pro Carbon AC, the upcoming micro-ATX model is a bit smaller but still packs quite a few features. At a first glance the X299M Gaming Pro Carbon AC looks very similar to the bigger brother.

Up to 64TB NVMe SSD

During the Flash Memory Summit last week, Seagate has shown their latest enterprise SSDs. Seagate is also introducing a new branding strategy to unify their enterprise SSD product lines under one numbering scheme. During the show, the company presented the largest NVMe SSD ever demonstrated with 64TB of capacity. On top of that the drive can achieve insane speeds. Furthermore the company has also shown a bunch of other products.


A bit late to the party

Colorful has quite a few motherboards in its portfolio when it comes to motherboards but that didn’t stop them from teasing yet another model. The new board is going to belong to the iGame series. Since there are already details about the upcoming Intel Z300 series chipset floating around in the web, we believe that Colorful is a bit late to the party with this model.



Might be a prototype

TooliusTech has posted a few pictures of an upcoming RX Vega 56 graphics card, which is - apparently - a custom version. According to the pictures, the card features a massive heatsink with a dense aluminum fin stack, several heatpipes and three fans. Unlike the reference model, this card comes with both 6-pin and 8-pin power connectors.


From Chiphell

The guys from Chiphell have taken few shots of the upcoming AMD Vega 64 Liquid Edition graphics card. The pictures reveal the GPU itself and a few other interesting aspects. Since there aren't many details available yet, we can only guess the specifications.



New score in Geekbench database

We have covered sofos1990 breaking records in the past and apparently the Greek overclocker did it again. This time he pushed an Intel Core i9-7960X CPU to 5.40 GHz using a Gigabyte X299 SOC Champion motherboard and liquid nitrogen cooling. The clock speed was achieved running 102 MHz BCLK and a multiplier of 54. Keep in mind that the scores done on Geekbench v3 and on Geekbench v4 are not comparable on a 1 to 1 basis.

New record from TheOverclocker

We have covered TheOverclocker breaking records in the past and apparently he did it again. This time he pushed an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X CPU to 5.37GHz using ASUS’ ROG X399 Zenith Extreme motherboard and liquid nitrogen cooling. The clock speed was achieved pushing the BCLK to 107.96 MHz in combination with a multiplier of 49.75.
