ASRock first Phantom Gaming GPUs are coming

Available next week

A few weeks ago, ASRock has finally announced its Phantom Gaming graphics cards lineup. The cards are all based on GPUs from AMD's Radeon RX 500 series. The first two models will become available on April 19th, the same day that AMD will release Zen+ CPUs.

The ASRock Phantom Gaming series at the moment includes four graphics cards. The lineup unveils the Phantom Gaming Radeon RX 550 2G, the Phantom Gaming Radeon RX 560 2G, the Phantom Gaming X Radeon RX 570 8G OC, and the Phantom Gaming X Radeon RX 580 8G OC. All four cards sport silent modes that keep things quiet when the card works below some temperature.

The Phantom Gaming Radeon RX 550 and RX 560 cards come with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory that works at 6 GT/sec. Compared to the reference models, this two cards come with slower GDDR5 memory since the stock models are clocked at 7 GT/sec. The RX 560-based cards use the cut-down 14-CU chip with 896 shader processors. Cooling wise, both cards use a small single-fan cooler. According to the company, we might see soon the RX 550 and RX 560 cards with 4 GB of memory onboard as well.

The two high-end models of the Phantom Gaming series come with a bigger PCB and a dual-fan cooler. That's because both cards pack some more muscles compared to the two previous models.

So far ASRock has not revealed details on pricing on their Phantom Gaming Radeon series but we are sure we will know more during next days. On following you can find all the specifications of each cards.
