Gigabyte announces new R7 260X OC graphics card

With 1GB of GDDR5 memory

Gigabyte is apparently preparing to release a new Radeon R7 260X graphics card, model GV-R726XOC-1GD, which will not only feature a custom cooler but also pack 1GB of GDDR5 memory, which is half the usual amount found on the R7 260X.

Aimed to firmly secure the lower mid-range market segment, the new Gigabyte R7 260X OC 1GB graphics card will use a custom blue PCB paired up with a dual-slot cooler with 10cm fan, feature Gigabyte's Ultra Durable 2 components and work at 1188MHz for the GPU while 1GB of GDDR5 memory, paired up with a 128-bit memory interface, ended up at 6500MHz.

Currently listed in Europe for €106,70, the new Gigabyte R7 260X OC 1GB will certainly appeal to wide range of buyers looking for a decent graphics card for 1080p gaming without breaking the bank.
