Nvidia has apparently learned a lot from the Shield launch and the decision to do the retail rather than outsource it to its partners as it appears that the Tegra Note 7 tablet scheduled to go on sale on Novemeber 12th in the USA should be retailed/e-tailed by a couple of select Nvidia partners.
According to a report from Fudzilla.com, Nvidia plans to market the new Tegra Note 7 tablet as the device that offers better performance and stylus which should give it a bit more leverage against Samsung Note 8 or the Google's Nexus 7. Based on Nvidia's Tegra 4 SoC, the Tegra Note 7 should be faster than the competition but its 7-inch 1280x800 panel is definitely a bit behind the 1920x1200 one in the Google Nexus 7.
On the other hand, Nvidia at least priced the Tegra Note 7 right as it will hit retail/e-tail with a US $199 price tag, making it a good US $30 cheaper than the cheapest Google Nexus 7.
The competition in the US $199 tablet market is quite fierce and we will have to wait to see if Nvidia will do much better with the Tegra Note 7 than it did with the Nvidia Shield.
