Aqua Computer announces R9 290X full cover block

When copper is a must

Aqua Computer has announced a new addition to its full cover water block lineup, the kryographics Hawaii for Radeon R9 290X. To be available in two versions and based on a full-cover design which means that it will keep all the graphics cards components well cooled.

Made entirely in Germany and milled from 1kg high-purity electrolytic copper material, the new Aqua Computer kyrographics Hawaii for 290X cover the GPU, RAM chips and the voltage regulation module (VRM) and features 0.5mm grid micro structure over the GPU part while voltage regulators part feature 3D flow technique.

With high gloss polished GPU contact area, the kryographics Hawaii for 290X also features Plexiglas cover milled form a solid block, uses casted Plexiglass in order to avoid any possible risk of cracks and is held in place by a stainless steel frame.

For an easy installation the block comes with preassembled distance pieces so the screws can be tightened as far as they will go to achieve an optimal contact pressure and can be used with regular G1/4" fittings while the connection terminal offers threads into both directions.

Already available in standard and nickel plated variant with suggested price tag of €99.90 and €114.98, the new kryographics Hawaii for Radeon R9 290X water block from Aqua Computer is definitely an interesting alternative to reference cooler from AMD if you are looking for something much better.
