Next Assassin's Creed might be set in Egypt

Sounds like a cool place

In an interview with Examiner.com, Ubisoft's creative director on Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Ashraf Ismail, noted that they "would love to explore Egypt as a setting for this game and that Ancient Egypt could be a really cool place, which points out that the next Assassin's Creed will most likely take us there.

Although recent Assassin's Creed titles moved the story ahead in time, closer to present day, but thanks to the Animus device, Ubisoft can pretty much use whatever time-frame they want and we must certainly admit that Egypt could be a great idea. Ismail also noted that "But again, I'm not saying Egypt is where the next one is going, it's just where I would like it to go".

Assassin's Creed is certainly one of the more successful franchises in the gaming industry and it is definitely far from over.
