New Nexus 7 now available across Europe and in Japan

In selected countries in Europe

Now that the infamous touchscreen bug is fixed, you might be happy to know that the new Nexus 7 is now available across Europe, in selected Google Play store friendly countries as well as Japan.

The new Nexus 7 is definitely one of the best Android-based tablets on the market due to its performance, specification as well as price and although it has been so far officially available only in the US and Canada, it will now be also available in the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Japan.

In case you missed it earlier, the new Nexus 7 features the same size 7-inch IPS panel as its predecessor but with a much higher 1920x1200 resolution that add up to 323ppi (pixel per inch) and promises a 30% wider color gamut. The new Nexus 7 is equipped with the same chipset previously seen in the Nexus 4, Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 Pro with quad-core Krait CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

Of course we are talking about buying the new Nexus 7 directly from Google and its Play Store, and it will cost £199 in the UK, €199 in mainland Europe and ¥27,800 in Japan.
