LG G2 to cost €599/€629 in Europe

Not too expensive for those specifications

As you are all probably aware, LG has announced its newest flagship smartphone, the 5.2-inch Snapdragon 800 equipped LG G2. Although it already announced that it will be available around the world by the end of August, LG did not shed any light regarding the actual price of the new flagship smartphone in certain regions. A quick check with our sources points out that it will hit retail/e-tail in Europe priced at €599 for 16GB version and €629 for the 32GB one, which lines up with early listings that we managed to find.

LG did announce that its new LG G2 will launch on all four major carriers in the USA including, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, but also noted that the specific dates for market availability and thus the price will vary by region and carrier. According to Pocket-lint.com, it will also be available in the UK's Three and O2 while it is still not clear if Vodafone or EE will carry it. Most carriers in Europe as well as retail/e-tail was still unknown but according to our sources and an early listings it should go for €599 for the 16GB version and €629 for the 32GB one, at least in Germany.

Unfortunately, the listing does not point out to precise availability date, but you can actually pre-order it. Samsung's Galaxy S4 currently sells in the same shop for around €520 for the 16GB version and around €600 for the 32GB one but the LG G2 obviously has the upper hand, at least in specification department.
