During an event in Beijing, China, HP has officially unveiled and launched its new Slate 21 Android table based around a 21.5-inch screen and Nvidia Tegra 4 chipset.
Although HP decided to call it Slate 21 AIO, the actual device is more All-in-One than tablet considering its enormous 21.5-inch IPS 1920x1080 screen. Based on Nvidia Tegra 4 chipset and running Android 4.2.2 OS, the Slate 21 AIO features rear kickstand that actual holds it in an upright position.
The rest of the revealed features include stereo speakers, dual-band WiFi, HP's TrueVision HD Webcam and Wireless direct. Unfortunately, HP did not reveal any more details but it did note that it will ship with keyboard and mouse out of the box.
According to HP, the new Slate 21 AIO should launch in the US in September with a starting price of US $399.
