Zotac unveils its new Geforce GTX 1080 Arctic Storm

With RGB LED liquid cooling block

Zotac has announced its Geforce GTX 1080 newest graphics card, the liquid cooling-ready Geforce GTX 1080 Arctic Storm.

Based on the same custom PCB as the flagship GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme graphics card, the new Zotac GTX 1080 Arctic Storm features a custom full-cover water block, high-end VRM and factory-overclock of 1632MHz GPU base and 1771MHz GPU Boost clocks. It comes with 8GB of GDDR5X memory working at reference 10GHz.

While the factory-overclock set by Zotac is not that high, compared to the referecen 1607MHz base and 1733MHz GPU Boost clocks, we are quite sure that there is plenty of additional overclocking headroom when paired up with a high-end liquid cooling setup.

The water block on the Zotac GTX 1080 Arctic Storm features RGB LEDs that can be controlled with Zotac's own FireStorm software and features standard G1/4 fittings. It also comes with a custom backplate.

Unfortunately, Zotac did not reveal any details regarding the price but we expect it to be even higher than the GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme, which is currently one of the priciest GTX 1080 cards on the market.
