BitFenix unveils thew new Aurora PC case

Tempered glass panel, RGB lights and neat price

BitFenix has unveiled its newest PC case, the Aurora, which will feature a unique design, RGB lights, tempered glass panel and a rather affordable price tag.

Based on a standard tower case design with a unique curved front panel, the BitFenix Aurora measures at 490x215x520mm and uses steel and plastic combination with both side panel made of tempered glass. It supports up to E-ATX motherboards, up to 400mm long graphics cards, up to 160mm tall CPU cooler and standard 220mm long PSUs.

It can take up to four 3.5-inch and three 2.5-inch drives and there is no room for 5.25-inch optical drives, something that has been slowly removed from all latest PC cases, especially those gaming oriented.

When it comes to cooling, the BitFenix Aurora can take up to two 140mm at the front, one 120mm at the rear and two 140mm at the top. This also means it supports up to 280mm radiator at both the front and at the top and single 120mm radiator at the back. Its front I/O panel comes with two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 as well as standard audio jacks and power/reset buttons.

What makes the BitFenix Aurora special, in addition to tempered glass panels and unique curved front panel, is an in-case LED controller and single LED-lit SSD bracket. It also support new Alchemy 2.0 RGB magnetic LED strips which should hook up well to the steel chassis and the supplied controller. The controller supports ASUS Aura motherboards as well.

The BitFenix Aurora is available in black and white color options and is already available for pre-order at Caseking.de for €99.90. The Alchemy 2.0 RGB strips are selling for around €20 to €30, depending on the length and this will be enough to get a well lit PC case.
