ASUS powers Valve's DOTA 2 gaming tournament

The International on ASUS monitors and notebooks

Valve's biggest gaming tournament, The International 2016, has already started yesterday and this year ASUS will be powering it, supplying players with both monitors and systems.

The International 2016 is Valve's biggest DOTA 2 tournament and it does not come as a big surprise that Valve wanted it to be powered by some neat hardware so it has teamed up with ASUS which will be providing both its recently announced ROG Swift PG248Q 24-inch 1080p gaming monitor as well as the ROG Strix GL702 gaming notebook powered by Nvidia GTX 970M GPU, which should keep DOTA 2 running with all eye-candy and high frame rate.

Held in Seattle each year, Valve's The International 2016 DOTA 2 tournament will include 16 teams which will compete for the final prize of US $8.8 million in finals.
