Many of us have PDAs with XScale processors. My MDA compact is running at 400Mhz. But the ARM part is not doing so well, so Intel will be laying off engineers from that group. Could this be the beginning of the end of XScale? The current high-end part is the 624Mhz processor, and considering that Intel is pushing forward with UMPCs, it does not bode well for XScale.
