AMD has announced that its dual AMD FirePro professional graphics solutions, including the AMD FirePro D300, D500 and the D700 deliver unprecedented level of performance for the new Mac Pro which recently and finally started to sell from Apple.com.
The AMD FirePro D300, D500 and the D700, according to AMD, offer exceptional compute power and reliability for wide range of applications and with support for OpenCL, Mac Pro users will have the ability to edit full-resolution 4K video and simultaneously render effects in the background while still having enough performance to use three high-resolution 4K displays.
Based on AMD's new Graphics Core Next GPU architecture, the new AMD FirePro GPUs in combination with OpenCL support, which are supported by both Apple and AMD, should deliver massive compute and graphics performance in one compact solution.

In case you missed them earlier when Apple's new bucket-design Mac Pro was announced, the new dual AMD FirePro GPU options include up to 6GB of video memory and up to 2048 Stream Processors per GPU, offering up to 7 TFLOPS of computing power.
