EIZO has announced the new 23.5-inch DuraVision FDF2405W monitor that promises to reduce image lag with its 240Hz blur reduction function.
Featuring a VA (non-glare) LED backlit panel with 1920x1080 resolution, the new 23.5-inch DuraVision FDF2405W monitor actually converts 120Hz input signals to 240Hz, doubling the number of frames for sharper, highly visable images with deuced motion blur caused by frame changes. According to EIZO, this should eliminate eye fatigue that occurs when viewing scrolling or moving images.
It also feature a 3D LUT to adjust colors individually on an RGB cubic table and also supports EPD (Equal Probability of Detection) gamma, has 3-pin DIN connector in order to generate a sync signal with 120Hz input for display of 3D images via active shutter system, has 176° viewing angle, 5000:1 contrast ratio and maximum brightness of 350cd/m2.
The new EIZO DuraVision FDF2405W ships with a stand that has wide height adjustment range, tilt and swivel functions with portrait mode capability and is backed by a 2-year warranty.
Unfortunately, EIZO did not shed any light on the actual price or the availability date for the new DuraVision FDF2405W monitor.
