Despite the fact, that 1080p has meanwhile become the standard resolution for most gamers, the industry doesn't stop pushing new technologies to the mass market. When checking prices these days we can see, that 2.5k Displays (2560 x 1440) are getting much cheaper and much more appealing to PC enthusiasts as well as gamer.

The guys over at Eurogamer.net thought, that it's about time they take a closer look at the market situation regarding 2.5k displays. Apparently there seem to be some very interesting and compelling offers around. For Eurogamer.net this was reason engough to check the Qnix QX271LED display, which costs as little as 329.90 US-Dollar.
