During its E3 Expo press conference, Microsoft has announced that its new Xbox Next will be ready in November 2013 and priced at US $499 in the USA, €499 in Europe and £429 in the UK.
In addition to the price and the actual shipping date, Microsoft also talked a lot about some features including the new Live Gold membership that will get two free games per month, about games expected to launch alongside the new console including Metal Gear Solid V, Forza 5, Killer Instinct, HALO, Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, Quantum Break and much more.
Sony actually made quite a blow to Microsoft announcing the US $399 price tag for its upcoming Playstation 4, but we guess that Microsoft will justify it with included Kinect 2 sensor. Another big novelty is that Microsoft has finally decided to ditch virtual currency, also known as Microsoft Points, and go with real currency.
Microsoft has its good and bad sides and so will the Playstation 4, which means that we will see some fierce competition between two giants and their new consoles as we draw closer to the holiday season.
