Seasonic has announced that its congratulates Intel on its upcoming launch of 4th generation Core Haswell CPUs and that its entire lineup will support the upcoming CPUs.

According to Seasonic, its full line of 80 PLUS Platinum and Gold power supplies have been designed to be ready to meet Haswell's new technical requirements. The ultra efficient Platinum series which includes the fanless models, X Series and the new Gold G series are all Haswell ready.

Seasonic also noted that its 80 PLUS Bronze lineup, which includes M12II-750 and 850W models is also compatible with Intel Haswell CPUs.

In case you missed it, the problem is behind Haswell's new C6 and C7 low-power states and the ability of the PSU to feed less than 0.5A via 12V2 rail. Of course, this won't be a big problem as the C6/C7 state can be disabled in BIOS, but in any case it is good to know that Seasonic has it covered.
